While Easter Egg hunts are fun, hunting for their location isn’t. So, we’ve done some of the hunting for you! 

Here are some “egg-ceptional” local Easter Egg Hunts you don’t want to miss!  

Friday, April 7

  • Not your typical Easter Egg Hunt. At Murray Park Center’s Annual Easter Egg Splash you'll search for easter eggs...in the water! The cost of participation is $5. You bring your own mesh bag to collect the easter eggs out in the pool. You’ll want to stick around to enjoy open dive and swim hours after the event! Friday, April 14

  • Teens can get involved with a fun, Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at the Riverton City Rodeo Arena. Bundle up to stay warm and bring your flashlights and Easter baskets for this awesome nighttime hunt for candy and cash-filled Easter eggs. Teens ages 13-18 need to be in place ready to go at 9:00 p.m. sharp because once the hunting begins...it goes hopping fast!

Saturday, April 15

  • Even man’s best friend can hunt for easter bones at the Wheeler Farm Easter Bone Hunt for Dogs. Cost is $15 for a doggy goody bag and entrance into the hunt. You must pre-register, so visit their website to get more details and sign up! 

  • Looking for a classic Easter Egg hunt? It’s in Draper at Galena Hills Park. You can meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs filled with candy and prizes! Areas will be sectioned off by age groups with accommodations for special needs. 

  • For a fun activity with breakfast included you won’t want to miss Saratoga Springs at Neptune Park at 9 am. Breakfast will be served between  8am-10am for a fee (cost is $5/adults, $2.50/children under 12).  Fun spring crafts will go from 10 am-3 pm.

  • Salt Lake Valley's very first Helicopter Easter Egg Drop!! Head over to the Equestrian Park in South Jordan from 3:00-5:00 pm where they're hosting the Up & Away EGG-stravaganza! They'll have 30,000+ candy-filled eggs drop from a helicopter! This is a FREE family event, complete with bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, a hot air balloon, and much more!

Sunday, April 16

  • Head up to Hill Air Force Base museum grounds for a easter egg hunt in a venue unlike anywhere else! There’ll be more than 10,000 plastic eggs, treats and prizes are carefully places around the museum grounds, and sectioned off by age groups. While you’re there, you won’t want to miss this great opportunity for the community to visit the Hill Aerospace Museum. The 2015 Easter Egg Hunt. Begins at 10 am.
