We couldn’t be more excited to welcome new agent, Rychen Jones to BHURDinUtah! Bringing a great background of financial knowledge, a care for others, and a true problem-solver mindset, he’s a great addition to our team.

After 13 years experience as a financial advisor, Rychen really found a unique way he could fill a gap, “Many people have a team of trusted professionals around them - a financial advisor, an accountant, an insurance agent, estate planning attorney, among others, but I saw a gap in these teams of professionals, a trusted real estate professional who can answer their day-to-day questions about their biggest financial asset -- their home. My role is to be that missing piece for my clients.”

When you’re working with Rychen, you can expect attention to detail and special care with your best interests at heart. Buying a home or selling a home is often a emotional and difficult decision, but Rychen’s unique set of skills as a former financial advisor makes him an excellent and reliable resource. He is a wealth of knowledge for answers to real estate questions from market analyses on homes and properties for net worth, to acting as a fiduciary for active and upcoming buyers and sellers, to planning purposes and providing investment property cash flow analyses.

He also has experience helping clients identify, recognize, and overcome negative emotions or biases that could potentially lead the to make decisions they may not be happy with in the future. “As I've helped clients make short and long-term investment decisions over the years I've seen the effect that emotions and stress can have in the decision-making process. I know that there is an increased likelihood a client will be satisfied with their decision as emotions and stress are minimized. My role is to help my clients better understand what their best options are and assist them in making the best decision for them and their family.”

When he’s not assisting his clients selling or purchasing a home, you’ll most likely find Rychen on a run. He’s run nearly two dozen marathons, six 50-mile ultra marathons and four half-Ironman triathlons. He loves that the Utah outdoors provides so many recreational opportunities to enjoy with friends and family.
